CCI France Chine Webinar: Intellectual Property Tribunal of the Supreme People’s Court - What Experience on Technology-Related Cases Since 3 Years?
As one of the measures to reinforce IP protection, China has established a specialized jurisdiction. Among all IP cases, technology-related cases (such as patents, know-how, software, plant variety, trade secrets, etc.) are of still more importance. In order to harmonize the judicial practice regarding such cases, the IP Tribunal of the Supreme People’s Court was created in 2019 with exclusive competence regarding all appellate cases related to technology.
How the IP Tribunal has functioned and what particularities in its settlement of disputes for 3 years? Our speakers will analyze the statistics since 3 years and share experience in lawsuits before this tribunal.
