Introduction

Since the 1st of January 2019, all appellate cases on patent & know-how have been centralized before the newly created Intellectual Property Tribunal (IPT) of the China Supreme People’s Court. This reform has brought significant progress to the Chinese judicial system in terms of both efficiency and quality in the treatment of technology-related cases.  In this session of the conference, our speakers will present and comment on the statistics on IPT’s five-year practice and give advice on strategy and actions on patent protection in China from the perspective of foreign companies.
