Dr. Easa Mohammed Al Bastaki

President of the University of Dubai

Dr. Eesa Mohammed Al Bastaki is the President of the University of Dubai and former CEO of the ICT Fund. Over his distinguished career, he has held senior roles, including Director of Education & Technology at Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) and Chairman of both the Energy and Technology Sections at the Technology & Energy Research Center of UAEU. He is one of the founders of Dubai Silicon Oasis, Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Dubai, and the IT Center in Al-Ain Municipality. 

He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees at the University of Technology Bahrain and holds several leadership roles, including Chairman of the Emirates Energy Award Technical Committee, Chairman of the Emirates Science Club, and member of the Dubai 10X judging committee. A UAE national and accomplished scientist, Dr. Bastaki earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego and his Ph.D. from UC Irvine. His research focuses on multiple access communications, coding, and synchronization.

Dr. Marcel Saucet

Nestor Al Doctoral School

Dr. Marcel Saucet has spent more than ten years as a researcher and visiting professor, teaching at the University of San Diego in California. He is the author of six books on innovation, Business and Artificial intelligence, with one of his works winning the award for Best American Book in advertising in 2015. Combining his academic research—featured in publications such as Harvard Case Study and Harvard Business Review—with professional consulting for numerous large companies, Dr. Saucet now leads the Nestor AI Doctoral School, which offers Doctorates in Business Administration, linked with AI, to students worldwide. He has lectured and written case studies at Harvard University, USD in Los Angeles, Essec, etc. He conducts lectures worldwide on new concepts of marketing, innovation, business and AI.
