WEBINAR | Audencia Insights – Decarbonising supply chains amidst global tensions

In order to strengthen the connection with our alumni community and to better share Audencia’s academic expertise, we are launching a new series of monthly webinars. This initiative will begin with a pilot cycle of three events, designed especially for our Alumni.
The aim is to offer you high-value content directly connected to the major challenges shaping today’s economic and managerial landscape. These sessions will also provide an opportunity to highlight the academic excellence of Audencia’s professors and the richness of their networks, while giving you a concrete insight into the School’s research activities, corporate partnerships, and executive education initiatives.
🚀 Audencia Alumni Webinar Series – Decarbonising supply chains amidst global tensions
Are green supply chains fundamentally incompatible with economic sovereignty As blanket tariffs, aggressive reshoring, and trade walls dismantle global networks, are net-zero targets becoming a luxury of the past? Are geopolitical security and scope 3 mitigation truly two sides of the same coin, or are they on an inevitable collision course? Under what exact conditions do regionalization strategies align with decarbonisation—and when do they actively conflict?
In the last three years, companies reporting scope 3 data to CDP increased from 6% to 1 third of the database. Are we going to stop progression and miss momentum? We can find a path to stop treating sustainability and geopolitical survival as an "either/or" dilemma.
In this exclusive webinar, we confront uncomfortable realities. We will discuss how political and trade tensions, maritime chokepoints, tariff barriers may pressure your carbon footprint overnight. These tensions also often revert attention (and funding) from initiatives on decarbonisation that were about the consolidate, or pass the pilot stage. Yet, political turmoil seems to have become the norm, rather than the exception. How can companies and Supply Managers navigate the poly-crisis while advancing the decarbonisation agenda?
To bridge theory with reality, this session will feature real company examples and concrete studies with actionable takeaways.
