Did you know that American sailor Mike Plant finished the first edition of the Vendee Globe, the 1989 single-handed non-stop round-the-world yacht race, celebrated as a hero in France despite a disqualification? A crowd of 25,000 gathered at the entrance of the harbor of Les Sables D’Olonne to show their admiration and respect to the sailor. 

On January 14, join us at the Tribeca Film Center from 18:30 onwards to find out more on free spirited Plant’s and his many adventures in “COYOTE: The Mike Plant Story”.
