Meet the French navy in New York, USA

The French American Yacht Club invites you to join them in welcoming the French navy destroyer Primauguet and its crew for their stopover in New York from February 23 to 27.

You can participate in three different ways

1 Tour the warship, docked on pier 90 by 50th street on the Hudson river. Navy warships are always great to visit. See how the crew lives and get a grasp of the complexity of modern naval warfare. Click here for more details.

2 Run with the crew for a good cause. The Primauguet crew is running to raise funds for the ADOSM, a non profit organization providing assistance to families of French navy sailors injured or killed in the line of duties or facing other crisis. Group runs will be organised by level, running 10km/6 miles maximum, and raising $2 per km. All runs start at the entrance of Pier 90 between 50th and 51st street.
Join one of the following runs:

  • Saturday Feb 23 at 8:30am
  • Tuesday Feb 26 at 1:30pm
  • Wednesday Feb 27 at 8am

Please contact HP@FrenchAmericanYC.org if interested. Even better, get your running club onboard.

3 Meet the crew for a drink at Pier A Harbor House at 6pm Saturday 23 February, at 22 Battery place.
