The unprecedented pace and scale of transformational changes to business environments and skills arguably brought about by the fourth industrial revolution coupled with the global pandemic, has led to a situation in which technology is increasingly outpacing individuals’ and organisation’s ability to adapt. Employers are looking for individuals who have the necessary professional and transferable skills to succeed in today’s world of work and this session will cover each of these and why, in context.
The key for sustainability in today’s turbulent labour market is education and employability so this session will also cover some ideas of how to keep ahead of the game in terms of career success for many years to come.
About the speaker
Jane Clark joined Talent Collective in 2019 and is Global Head of Emerging Talent Consulting. With a strong track record in talent management and HR change and transformation, she is responsible for leading and defining early career resourcing programmes and solutions for a cross-industry selection of key accounts.Her breadth of experience ranges from overseeing complex outsourcing graduate solutions and in-house graduate programmes globally to designing recruitment strategies for multinational organisations.
Jane’s client base and associated consulting projects span a number of sectors including healthcare and life sciences, engineering, telecommunications, transportation, IT, investment and retail banking, as well as operating across 50+ countries in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas. She brings extensive global leadership experience in early careers resourcing and development, and for the past 20 years has been responsible for building and driving industry award-winning strategic talent plans to attract, recruit, develop and retain best-in-class junior talent. She has worked in a variety of senior roles with companies such as Credit Suisse, Fidelity and Barclays.
