During her time as alumni ambassador, Katherine has walked up hills, organised brainstorm sessions hosted raclette evenings, mobilised alumni to interview future applicants, and much more. Katherine has indeed developed a true feeling of community and created lasting links and strong friendships among the alumni of Beijing.
Never fear, Katherine will be leaving the chapter in safe hands! She is handing over to Arnaud de Blay (FAM 18) who is already very involved in the life of the chapter and organised a surprise farewell party for Katherine last weekend.

Audencia 3e du classement des écoles sur les médias sociaux
Meltwater vient de publier une analyse sectorielle réalisée en 2018 concernant l’influence médiatique des grandes écoles de commerce. Meltwater (société de services spécialisée dans les logiciels) s’est penchée sur le contenu généré par les écoles de commerce françaises sur les médias sociaux et a analysé 360 000 publications réseaux sociaux publiées au cours de l'année 2018 : pages publiques de Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, blogs, forums et sites d’avis. La réputation d’une université ou d’une école dépend bien évidemment de sa communication et de ses événements, mais d’autres facteurs sont à prendre en compte : les étudiants, les professeurs et chercheurs, les associations étudiantes et le réseau Alumni peuvent influer sur la bonne ou mauvaise réputation d’un établissement. Résultat ? Au classement des écoles de commerce françaises par mentions sur les médias sociaux, Audencia est à la 3ème place ! Likez, tweetez, partagez !

They climbed the CN Tower in Toronto!
It was 553 metres to the top. “Successful first attempt to climb the tallest free standing tower in North America!” says a delighted Siddharth (IMM 10). Under the guidance of Clement (GE 07), the Audencia alumni team of first-time climbers, left ground level early Sunday morning to ascend the 1766 stairs of Toronto’s iconic CN Tower. Hélène (GE 14) gives a nod of thanks to fellow alum Clement, who took on the role of coach for the newbies. “Thank you Clement for setting up the team and taking us to the top.” Clement adds that after racing up 146 floors in under 20 minutes (19:59 !) “I cannot feel my legs today but totally worth it!” The alumni team enjoyed the atmosphere and organisation put on by WWF and are looking forward to improving their scores next year. “Thank you to all the donors who supported the climb and allowed us to reach our target.” concludes Clement.

Le 16 mai prochain, retrouvez les témoignages de trois diplômés lors de la conférence "Explorateurs : ils osent tout" [Nantes] . « Partir en mission au Cameroun a changé ma vie », nous confie Christine Brunier (GE 80) qui a tout quitté, vendu sa maison familiale pour vivre une aventure XXL. « En revenant en France, on n’est plus la même personne ». « Il faut y aller, il faut oser et n’écouter que soi-même ! », lance Océane Lenoir (IMM 11) comme un défi… concrétisé sur son voilier de 12m pour effectuer une transatlantique d’un an. « On se sent tout petit au milieu de l’océan ! » « Partager une part de mon pays aux Nantais », fut le moteur de Nonso Chukwuma (IMM 13) lorsqu’il crée sa start-up "Chooka", réalisant des boissons à base de fleurs d’hibiscus, cultivé et récolté au Nigéria de manière écoresponsable et certifié bio. « J’ai été le 1er étudiant international à intégrer l’incubateur de l’École » Christine, Nonso et Océane reviendront sur leur expérience unique qui leur a fait voir le monde différemment. Ils partageront leur préparation, leurs difficultés et les atouts essentiels pour accéder à ses rêves ! Avec la présence exceptionnelle de : Matthieu Tordeur, plus jeune explorateur français à atteindre le Pôle Sud en solitaire et en autonomie totale.
