- Le 13 mars 2025

The Audencia Alumni team is excited to invite you to "Audencia Around the World" - our annual global celebration connecting Audencia’s international communities. And this year, we’re making it even bigger!
What’s new?
This time, the event will be spread over an entire year, giving you the flexibility to organise an event at a time that works best for your city and community. Whether it’s a small gathering, a cultural showcase, or a networking event, every initiative counts in strengthening our global alumni network.
The concept?
Create an event that puts your city on the Audencia world map while reinforcing the international outreach of our alumni network. Whether as part of your local chapter or an individual initiative, this is your chance to make an impact.
The theme?
Celebrating the uniqueness of each country! From traditional festivities to local experiences, let’s share and showcase the cultural richness of every place where Audencia alumni thrive.
The dates?
A year-long celebration! You choose the date that works best for you.
Location?
Anywhere in the world!
How does it work?
Alumni ambassadors who wish to organise an event should contact the Audencia Alumni team with a proposal for an activity. It will be our pleasure to help set it up. For alumni who don't have a chapter nearby but would like to participate, drop us a line with a date, a time and a venue, and we'll share the details with the alumni community.
Register for an event in a city near you!
Events will be added to the agenda all year long, so remember to check regularly to see what is happening near you, and feel free to take part in one (or more)!

Go Germany! Germany has a very high level of employment
Audencia's Career Center and Alumni teams are delighted to to bring you “Go Germany!”, the guide to working in Germany. This guide holds special significance as we celebrate the remarkable career of one of our esteemed professors, Uwe Supper, German Professor at Audencia and the Careers Adviser for Germany. Throughout his tenure, Uwe has adeptly crafted valuable connections between Audencia and Germany. Building on the positive outcomes of our previous guides, including Go France and Go Netherlands, it is now time for Germany to take center stage as a welcoming destination for our diverse community of students and alumni. As the economic powerhouse of Europe, known for placing a strong emphasis on efficiency, environmental awareness and a good work-life balance, Germany stands out as a compelling choice for all those in pursuit of an international career, and we are excited to help you discover the opportunities it offers. “Go Germany!” is a valuable resource for students and recent graduates wishing to head to Germany after their studies at Audencia. This week, discover what Huyen Bahr from Vietnam has to say. About Huyen: GRADUATED FROM THE MSC INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME IN 2012 FROM VIETNAM CURRENT POSITION: OPERATIONS SPECIALIST AT APPLE RETAIL GERMANY B.V. & CO. KG AND CEO/FOUNDER AT BAHR HAAR IN MUNICH NATIVE LANGUAGE: VIETNAMESE DAILY WORKING LANGUAGES: GERMAN AND ENGLISH GERMAN LEVEL: EXPERT BEEN LIVING IN GERMANY FOR: 10 YEARS Huyen's key message: “Germany has a very high level of employment" My biggest challenge Not having a higher education degree from a German university. Myths & realities MYTH: It's better if you know German. It's also better if you have a local German degree. Jobs in Germany are given based purely on hard skills. REALITY: There are many career opportunities in Germany. The current most in-demand jobs are in Information Technology, Banking, Telecommunications, Engineering, Marketing, and Construction. My advice & top tips Do a Google search: “Personaldienstleister” = “recruitment agencies” in Germany. Quirky & cultural The German work culture means employees always turn up on time and do a full day's work. They are in turn rewarded with fair pay and good working conditions. Everyone in Germany wants every task, big or small, to be completed as effectively as possible, and delivered on time. And finally... It's better if you know how to speak German. Most locals can speak English, but they still prefer German. Follow this link to read Go Germany in full
