Organising a class reunion in Paris from the other side of the world

"We've been juggling with the idea of a reunion for a couple of years now." says Robert. "When I visited Barbara in Brazil last year, she said she would start organising it for good and wanted my help” he continues. 

"I've kept very close contact with many of our IMM friends throughout the past 5 years, but could never meet more than 2 or 3 at a time” Barbara says. “Yes, our time in Nantes was special, partying and studying together. Something worth reliving” adds Robert.

They decided to share the work between them. Robert returns regularly to Audencia to teach on the IMM programme so was able to communicate regularly with the Audencia Alumni team in Nantes. Barbara was responsible for getting in touch with the whole class, pitching the reunion idea and getting the most number of alumni present. “I contacted every single student and even if not all are able to come, they all are very excited about the reunion." Between Robert in Wales and Barbara in Brazil, as plans progressed, they decided to ask a French classmate to help with finding and booking a restaurant in Paris. 
 

“It's been easier than I anticipated” says Robert. "It sure is something to do more regularly” adds Barbara. The excitement is mounting as the reunion is now only a week away and almost half of the class are able to attend. "We are all looking forward to seeing each other again; we made some amazing friendships during our time in Nantes and next week's reunion can only strengthen them" says Barbara. 

The team at Audencia Alumni are also looking forward to seeing the 2017 photos of the IMM class of 2012!
