Why did you choose Audencia Nantes to study?
The reasons why I chose Audencia Nantes was firstly to study in a non-English speaking country as it takes you out of your comfort zone and pushes you to learn new things. The course structure, diversity in class and the ranking of the school made Audencia an easy choice for my masters.

What did you enjoy the most?
The best part about studying at Audencia was the diversity in class, class interactions and the perspectives each of the classmates brings. Besides, it gave me the opportunity to explore Europe during my education. The experiences of the professors teaching the class was exceptional and the international exchanges facilitated by Audencia made it a truly International Programme. Studying in Audencia I was very active with international youth affairs and had a chance to participate in numerous International Youth Conferences and represent India in different capacities.

After your studies at Audencia Nantes, why did you decide to go back to India?
The opportunities & growth in India are immense and given the exposure of studying in France it opens doors to start an International career.

What kind of job are you doing right now?
I am working with the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce now. In my current role I am consulting French companies entering or expanding in the Indian market. The role involves engaging with them to work on the understanding of markets & opportunities, designing & working on an entry strategy and hand-holding in setting-up their company and office. The role also involves mediation in case of conflicts arising during trade.
Besides working at the Chamber of Commerce, along with an Audencia Alumni Umesh Mukhi and contacts from the International Youth Conferences we started an International Think Tank in India that for the development and implementation of concepts of Sustainable Leadership. In our journey of developing this concept we have partnered with organizations like UNESCO, WBCSD and Young European Leaders to name just a few. The two major domains that we are currently focusing on are Entrepreneurship & Education. As a team we have collectively been invited and represented the Sustainable Leadership Initiative in India, France, Serbia, Mauritius, Qatar, Australia & Macedonia.

Any tips for our students who are thinking of working in India?
The current emerging economies are not only developing as manufacturing hubs for the developed world but also are potentially huge markets for any business. The industries and sectors in these economies are continuously evolving. This requires fresh ideas, out-of-the-box thinking and smart execution capabilities and this is what the students must focus on developing.
